Fitzwilliam String Quartet
This concert is supported by the Kay Trust in memory of Kathy and Margaret Kay.
We are so pleased to welcome back to the Worcester Concert Club the celebrated Fitzwilliam String Quartet. They will play a varied recital demonstrating many different colours and moods. The programme includes a new work by a local composer.

Richard Jenkinson (cello) and Benjamin Frith (piano)
Richard Jenkinson and Benjamin Frith, both distinguished soloists in their own right, have given many recitals throughout the UK. Their repertoire takes in everything from the great classics to contemporary works.

Travelling by Tuba – Children's Workshop
"80,000 miles a year and still not out of puff!"
Discover instruments ancient and modern: Swiss Alpine Horns, Roman Cornu, Chinese dragon-headed trumpets plus many more... all will be revealed! Music from classical to jazz, plenty of audience participation, come and have a go, watch out for a can-can, dancing tubist and an exploding tuba!

Travelling by Tuba
Travelling by Tuba is a unique group which performs stunning, innovative programmes. As one of the busiest groups in the UK, they undertook over 200 performances last year. This success was not only due to their virtuosic performance but also the ability as irrepressible entertainers to communicate with their audience.

Eleanor Percy (violin) and Irina Lyakhovskaya (piano)
Acclaimed duo Eleanor Percy and Irina Lyakhovskaya have been performing recitals together for 12 years, in leading concert halls across Europe. Their discography includes sonatas by Brahms, Prokofiev and complete Mozart sonatas for the Melodiya label.

King Clarinet Trio
Richard Russell (clarinet), Jessica Burroughs (cello) and Adam Johnson (piano)
The King Clarinet Trio takes its name from renowned clarinettist, the late Dame Thea King. They have all performed concerti for their instruments with a great variety of orchestras throughout the UK, Europe, Asia and North and South America.

Eberle String Quartet
The Eberle Quartet is recognised for its high quality performances and immediate rapport with audiences. Recital repertoire encompasses the Classical era, the Romantic giants, 20th century greats, light classical and also 21st century living composers who have written works with the Eberle in mind.
